Our 2 100lb+ LSG dogs just got home from spending 4 days/nights at Dutch Pet Motel. We were concerned about leaving them with someone who they don't know because one of the dogs is a fearful/anxious type (IYKYK). Adam was willing to have us visit in advance to help our boy prepare for his trip, and was very accommodating with meeting all of his needs, from bringing his own bed to giving medication and treats. When we got back, we could see that not only were both dogs comfortable and relaxed, the dog we were concerned about had quickly formed a bond with Adam. Given that our dog is most wary of men, this is a huge testament to Adam's skills.

I have never used a kennel for pet boarding before but my experience with the Dutch pet motel was very pleasant. Adam was great with our Lab. We have used the Dutch Pet Motel many times over the past 4 years. The first time we used them we brought in a puppy. Now we have added a rescue dog and they are both 5 years old. Our dogs are highly energetic and reactive… cattle dogs! (Blue heeler and heeler mix) The staff knows our dogs and their behaviors. They cater to our dogs needs and are understanding of their breed. Whenever we drop them off we know Adam and his staff will take great care of them- even when they are stubborn and bonkers. 😅 Adam is always honest with their behavior report, which we appreciate. We know they get enough outdoor time to burn off some energy and plenty of attention. We couldn’t imagine boarding them anywhere else.
